Christine Berju D.C.
Dr. Christine Berju has been a chiropractor since 1985. She was a Respiratory Therapist before becoming a chiropractor. So she understands both the medical and the holistic sides of treatment.
The adjusting techniques Dr. Christine Berju uses are Diversified, very gentle Arthrostim, gentle Activator, Gonstead, Applied Kinesiology, Koren Specific Technique (which includes Cranial), Network, and Weber Technique.
She suits the technique to the patient. She adjusts by hand for the patients that like it and respond well to it and she adjusts using very gentle techniques for people who respond best to that. Being a gentle adjuster she works well with patients with osteoporosis as well as infants and children. She adjusts many pregnant women with great success and knows the Weber technique for turning infants via reflex points.
Dr. Berju uses all the physical therapies, if needed, including Interferential, Infrared, Ultrasound and HVG, Electric Stimulation, Microtens, Disc Decompression and Massage. She also teaches her patients rehabilitative stretching and strengthening exercises suited to each patient's need, as well as exercises that promote good posture. She uses bracing and taping as needed. She teaches her patients proper sleeping positions, sitting positions, lifting, bending and other daily living activities.
Being trained in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation and having a great love of all animals Dr. Chris loves to adjust animals, when she has a vet's prescription. She adjusts most of the animal adjusting done in the practice.
